  • Overview




    The person in this position will work as a self-motivated member of the P:innacle services  Team. This job will primarily consist of assisting truck drivers in loading, transporting, delivering and unloading hazardous materials, included but not limited to LPG to and from specified destinations safely without spills or other incidents.


    • Assist in hooking and unhooking trailers as required.Assist in maintaining truck log in accordance to state and federal regulations.Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
    • Provide exceptional customer service during daily interaction with customers, vendors and others by supplying service information and answering inquiries.
    • Follow all applicable federal, local and company regulatory rules and regulations that are in accordance with documentation of product transfer and commercial transportation.
    • Assist in generating and maintaining reports and other documentation for the safe transfer of petroleum products between a variety of containers.
    • Assist in performing regulated safety inspections including but not limited to; pre and post trip vehicle inspections, lease safety inspections, and delivery location inspections.
    • Assist in testing and measuring petroleum product samples including but not limited to BS&W measurement, API measurement, tank strapping, tank bottom measurement, etc.
    • Comply with the utmost safety and security standards and expectations of all operations and locations.
    • Responsible for all equipment cleanliness, testing equipment care, and assist in minor maintenance on all operated equipment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.


    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • A minimum of two (2) years experience as a truck driver or related field.
    • Effective writing and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate in all directions within the organization.
    • Exhibit highly developed conflict resolution skills.
    • Analyze information and chooses the best solutions and evaluates results.
    • Demonstrated teamwork capability and can-do attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Clean driving record.
    • Must possess an unexpired TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card.


    • Aerial Lift/Manlift Certification.
    • Heavy Equipment License or Commercial Driver’s License.
    • Fork lift certification.
    • Unexpired HazMat Training.

    • Ability to wear/use any personal protective equipment provided by employer.
    • Must be able to sit for an extended period of time while transporting hazardous materials.
    • Must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
    • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary, to perform vehicle inspections.
    • The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, as well as grasp, lift, and handle heavy equipment as necessary, to ensure safety during the hooking and dropping processes of tractor/trailer combinations.
    • The ability to climb upon the trailer to ensure closure of all valves following loading or unloading and when dealing with sections of hose that may exceed 20’ in length, measure as many as 4” in diameter, and weigh as much as 75 lbs. This is to ensure safe and proper practice when coupling, and when disconnecting hose.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing, vision and smell.
    • Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed. 
    • Maintain mental capacity, which permits quickly making sound decisions and using good judgment, and demonstrating intellectual capabilities.

    Applicants selected will be subject to a background investigation and will need to possess a valid TWIC card. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and job appropriate medical testing. This position is subject to Department of Transportation compliance.
