  • Overview





    Note: This position is temporary.


    This temporary position is responsible for, but not limited to, providing inventory and sales support to the Company and its Clients.This is a part -time position working five (5) hours a day, five (5) days a week.



    • Responsible for loading and unloading of materials.
    • Responsible for receiving materials, logging inventory, and stocking shelves.
    • Responsible for issuing materials and up-selling customers.
    • Provide excellent customer service to all levels of employees and management.
    • Responsible for performing inventory checks as needed to include preparing and maintaining files/reports on inventory balances, prices and shortages.
    • Work closely with the accounting department for monies and sales receipts.
    • Create invoices and sales receipts in QuickBooks on a daily basis.
    • Responsible for running the cash register in a precise manner.
    • Responsible for assisting with ordering of materials.
    • Responsible for tracking orders with shipping companies and USPS.
    • May have to pick up materials from shipping companies or USPS.
    • Other duties as assigned.



    • High school diploma or equivalent with with retail and or sales experience.
    • Three years or more of warehouse experience with material systems preferred.
    • Knowledge of business math and computational ability required.
    • Three years experience handling cash preferred.
    • Knowledge of Quickbooks preferred.
    • Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be capable of operating independently and working with minimum or no supervision.
    • Ability to communicate in all directions within the organization.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • MUST be able to work in an ever-changing environment and be amenable to change.
    • Must be able to work overtime, weekends or night shift as needed to meet deadlines.
    • TWIC card and driver’s license is required.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work may be performed in a noisy environment or adverse conditions when necessary.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, push and pull items, reach overhead, stoop and squat and perform physical labor-intensive duties when necessary. Ability to frequently utilize necessary personal protective equipment.


    Rate of Pay: $10 - $12 per hour.


    Applicants selected will be subject to a background check. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment, drug and alcohol testing and job-appropriate medical testing.
