     The person in this role will perform non-craft related duties that do not require specialized skills or training in a particular field. The Laborer helps production workers by performing duties requiring less skill. Must be hard working and able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more if necessary.

    Responsibilities

    • Lift, carry, hold, or deliver materials, tools, and supplies.
    • Clean tools, equipment, and materials.
    • Sweep, dust, wash, and/or pick up trash from work area(s).
    • Assist with the safe spotting of fuel truck and other vehicles or equipment maneuvering into operating position.
    • Receive daily job responsibilities from Supervisor and carry out duties as required.
    • Ensure that work is being carried out as per work instructions (including quality requirements).
    • Work in compliance of the O.H.S.A. and site policies.
    • Report all workplace incidents/accidents to Supervisor.
    • Use and wear the protective clothing, equipment or devices issued for protection and ensure that they are properly maintained.
    • Notify Supervision if any protective material, equipment or device is missing or not functioning properly.
    • Report unsafe acts or unsafe conditions.
    • Adhere to housekeeping policies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED preferred.
    • Must be able to lift, push, and/pull 50 pounds or more repeatedly during a 12 hour shift.
    • Must be able to work 12 hours or more if.
    • Demonstrated teamwork and can-do attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
    • Valid TWIC card preferred.

    Applicants selected will be subject to a background check. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment, drug and alcohol testing.
