  • Overview





    The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining all IT networks, servers and security systems for both the company and our clients.   The person in this role will provide Information Technology (IT) operational support to system users as it applies to user profiles, connectivity and computer performance of Pinnacle Services. This position will provide IT technical support in the office and field environments relating to hardware, software, security and network systems.


    • Responsible for investigating and diagnosing network and server problems
    • Collecting IT usage statistics
    • Recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
    • Assist in providing 1st and 2nd level support for problem identification and resolution.
    • Perform testing and installation of hardware and software relating to workstations, printers and other network related equipment.
    • Support organization's employees and train non-technical workers on the business's information systems.
    • Provide support to existing computer process control and general software applications.  Forms of support will include, but may not be limited to, distributed control systems and instrumentation.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor degree in computer science or related field.
    • Strong communication skills
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Post Secondary Education in computer or information technology or related field with a minimum of 5 years IT experience in an industrial facility preferred.
    • Experienced in process controls and business information technology support.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory 2003-2012 & Windows System Administration MS Windows XP/7-10, Ethernet and TCP/IP networking.
    • Excellent knowledge of server/pc hardware, printers, network switches, wireless access points, UPS hardware and other computer related equipment.
    • Experienced working with or managing a wide variety of IT technologies, such as FC/iSCSI storage systems, server/desktop virtualization, MS Exchange administration, Citrix Metaframe/XenApp, enterprise backups & recovery, Honeywell TDC3000, Honeywell Experion r110,
    • Honeywell PHD, Cimplicity HMI and SCADA systems.
    • Must have excellent teamwork, group & organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple task.
    • Must have writing and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate in all directions within the organization.
    • Must exhibit highly developed conflict resolution skills.
    • Must be able to analyze information and choose the best solutions and evaluate results.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.
    • Ability to work under stressful situations and meet deadlines.
    • Valid Driver’s License required.
    • TWIC card required.

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, perform repetitive physical and mental activities.
    • The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, push and pull items, reach overhead, stoop and squat. Ability to frequently utilize necessary personal protective equipment.



    • This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machnines.
