    JOB SUMMARY:

     

    The person in this role will provide Information Technology (IT) operational support to system users as it applies to user profiles, connectivity and computer performance of Limetree Bay Terminals. This position will provide IT technical support in the office and field environments relating to hardware, software, security and network systems.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in providing 1st or 2nd level support identifying and resolving IT related problems.
    • Perform testing and installation of hardware, software or other network related equipment in a client/server environment.
    • Support and train organization's employees in the use of its IT systems and technologies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Post-Secondary Education in computer information technology or related field with a minimum of 5 years IT experience preferred.
    • Systems Administration relating to Microsoft (MS) Active Directory 2003-2012, MS Server 2003-2012, MS Windows 7-10 and TCP/IP networking.
    • Excellent knowledge of server/pc hardware, printers, network switches, wireless access points, UPS hardware and other computer related equipment.
    • Experience working with or managing a wide variety of IT technologies, such as FC/iSCSI storage systems, desktop/server virtualization, E-mail, backup systems, software deployment, endpoint security, and business productivity suites.
    • Must have excellent teamwork, group & organizational skills, and the ability to handle  multiple tasks.
    • Must have writing and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate in all directions within the organization.
    • Must exhibit highly developed conflict resolution skills.
    • Must be able to analyze information and choose the best solutions and evaluate results.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.
    • Ability to work under stressful situations and meet deadlines.
    • Valid Driver’s License required.
    • TWIC card required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

     

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, perform repetitive physical and mental activities.
    • The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, push and pull items, reach overhead, stoop and squat.  Ability to frequently utilize necessary personal protective equipment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machnines.
